Software can't find hub

I got all of my devices in a few days agoand had to spend time to find a good spot for the hub so all of my devices were controlled. I thought I found a good spot so tonight I tried to set up an activity to turn on my receiver, my TV and my nVidia shield. The Shield is not getting turned on consistently even though if I go to the device and go to the power button it will turn on. Then I tried the X1 remote and the scroll button wont scroll up to Activities. Somehow it did go to activities and sometimes things worked, but other times the Shield wouldn't turn on. So I went to the tablet I'm using to set everything up to see if I could figure out what the problem was and now the tablet won't find the hub. I tried several times and after putting in my WiFi password it failed to connect and said I should reset everything. WTF!!!!! Setup is clumsy and cumbersome and I am not going to go through all that again. I got the firmware updated (I think). Initial setup was not straight forward but did work. But now if I have to reset everything just to get it to recognize the hub I might as well just return this to Amazon and wait till this is out of beta testing. If you wnat meto beta test something, then give me something in return besides frustration.
