Sofabaton X1

Hi,

Is it possible to get some more technical information on the X1? I like to know for example whether the remote has IR flashers in the remote itself as well, or do you have to use the hub.

Thanks.

Ian

Like the Harmony Units, you can not sync multiples remotes to one Hub. However, I wanted two remotes in my living room so I bought a IR Repeater (from amazon) and plugged 2 Hubs to the Input. It's tricky because you need to make sure whether you need 2.5 vs 3.5 plugs and stereo vs mono plugs for Inputs/Outputs depending on your IR Repeater choice but it works! The only downside (at least with Harmony) is you have to program each remote, there was no way to just "copy" all the work to the 2nd remote.

I have connected the X1 to my SONOS PLAYBAR both via IR and WiFi and have problems by choosing the Input source of my playbar. I have created an activity "music" with both SONOS devices (IR and WiFi). There is a command INPUT on the IR side, which will change the source input to TV. This is not really needed, as my TV will choose the input by the HDMI controller. The opposite command, however, is missing (going back to music, radio ...). When I use the Sonos app to change the input source, everything works fine with the music activity. I can play, pause, skip forward/backward and even use volume control 10/30/50. I would like t have a command for the Sonos playbar, which will switch the input from TV back to radio etc.

X1 running v9 will not sync to 4K firestick running OS 6.2.9.2. Green line under device name chases but remote never connects. Suggestions?

Can you buy and use multiple hubs? I want to use a single remote in multiple rooms and this seems like it will not work for this purpose.

    NO. Must use HUB
@ianbrouwer: Sorry, but this didn't answer the question, it's just a marketing spiel, I can read this myself on kickstarter. Will the X1 have its own IR flasher with the ability to use it without the hub entirely, or not?
