I'm considering to purchase the X1 and wanted to know if this has been trialed to work on an evpad (an android based tv box, similar to Roku, but made for asian tv audiences) and an older Sony XBR4. The evpad's remote did come with a universal tv function, but did not support my XBR4. Also, would the hub be ok sitting on my coffee table? It would sit inline with my evpad and Sony tv to broadcase the IR.
