I got my new U1 hub and remote today and its been a long slog to get it to do the most basic things. I have used Harmony remotes so am very familiar with what I want to accomplish.
I can't seem to add ANY devices to the hub devices list. It refuses to find anything. I have a brand new Sony 85" TV. I have the exact model number right in front of me. This thing won't add it no matter what I do. Ditto for the Apple TV 4K. Very popular device. can't add it.
Moving on to just adding a "TV" and then using the remote to teach the hub commands, well, that doesn't seem to work either. I can teach the hub a command, like POWER, but it will not power/on/off the TV . So, its the same as not working at all if you can't turn a device on and off, forget the details of inputs and selections. The learning procedure seems to work, but the hub will not power on or off the TV.
I am about ready to box this up and send it back.
