I have just received my X1 and am attempting to set it up. I am coming to this after using Harmony for years back to my first 880, Harmony One and 665 and Ultimate
I use my Yamaha receiver for switching my HDMI , it is left in standby mode and accepts commands from my harmony to change inputs to the correct HDMI without powering on and providing sound.
I would like to be able to either add the device to an activity and edit to not power on but still select the input or be able to leave it out of the devices added but still select an additional command to the start up that is not from a device added to the activity when using the edit button.
I have tried to get the hub to learn the signal from my old harmony remote for the Yamaha input 1 to be saved as a TV remote function but I can’t get it to recognize the command.
