I have a Dish Network Hopper3 set top box and the X1 has an error when trying to control it. While in Dish mode, when I press the up, down, right or left keys on the X1 remote it sometimes acts as if I had pressed the button twice. In other words, it sometimes moves two positions instead of one. It only does this sometimes, like every 3rd or 5th time.
If I go to edit mode for the Dish device in the X1 app and select repair keys, I can manually trigger the function and it works properly every time. It only fails when I use the X1 remote buttons.
I have tried some different code bases but no fix. I have verified that the number of repeats for the effected functions is set to zero.
Interestingly, this only happens if I am using the X1 remote direction buttons. If I go to Devices on the X1 remote them select the Dish device, then select again to get the command list, I can issue navigation commands and they never fail. When issued from the X1 remote using the command list they never fail. It only fails when I press the physical navigation button on the remote.
I believe the remote is defective. Will you send another to me?
