I recently purchased a U1 remote to control my Samsung TV, Fire TV, and Xfinity cable box. The Fire TV control seems fine, but the Samsung TV controls are sporadically unresponsive. Sometimes I have to press the volume 3-5 times before it works, and even then the following clicks may or may not work. I've tried different angles, replacing the battery, and even deleting and re-adding my LNxxx Samsung TV settings, but nothing helps.
The Xfinity X1 remote settings do not work at all. I'm not sure if that's expected. The TV is wall-mounted and the new cable box is tucked behind it. Does your Xfinity support only include direct IR signals, or should it work out of sight?
