Here is my setup :
Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 5040ub Yamaha RX-A2080 nVidia Shield Sony UBP-X700
All my devices were added using the specific model and codes. CEC is disabled on the projector, as I suspected the shield to turn it back on, but it seems not to be the issue.
State of all the devices works, except the projector. Starting an activity will turn everything on as expected. Switching activity will keep the Receiver and PJ on.
Issue is when I hitthe off button, everything turn off except the projector. I did verify the codes. When I go into the device and use the power off code, the projector turns off. If I use the app to manually push the top right corner off button, it works as well, but never from the activity.
I tried changing from Always on, unless oiff is pressed to the other settings, without success.
I tried changing the power off macro of the p rojector to multiple presses, with multiple length of pressing, does not work.
The remote, albeit not perfect, works pretty well for my use case except this. This will determine if I keep or return it.
