X1 behaviors - entering numbers is going to be a showstopper

issue 1, after latest firmware upgrade – remote indicated "lost hub" not even sure what that means. What is the protocol between the hub and remote - Bluetooth? Wifi? Proprietary (over what technology)? Remote is always within 15 feet of hub. At 12:15 am this morning, when I got that message, just left remote next to hub and grabbed my Harmony One to change TV channel. Issue 2, now that I got the numbers to show up in the LED for my activities, more than 50% of the time when I hit a number, I get a double digit. I suspect it’s due to the scroll wheel moving under pressure when selecting. I tried it a bunch of times and am constantly seeing repeated numbers where 22 becomes 222. This will be a non-starter for me, cause in the setup I’m using the X1, 95% of the time I’m working the TV and cable set-top box. Using the up and down channel selectors isn’t valuable when there are 300+ channels in the portfolio. The scroll wheel and the poorly located BACK button are really downers in this design. Maybe an X2 will resolve this, but I’m hard-pressed to see where I’ll be able to use the X1 as a single controller.
