Hi, I really like the X1 hardware, and it seems the software is steadily improving. I'm unable to use this as my main remote, however, since I use a Chromecast with Google TV as my main streaming device. Can this device's remote be added natively (meaning without hacks and walkthroughs and such) as a device?
Furthermore, while I realize there are thousands and thousands of devices out there, the amount of streaming/endpoint devices (which are crucial to the experience) is far less if you are targeting the main ones: FireTV, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, gaming consoles. I don't mean to trivialize this part, but it seems like these all need to be added and be rock solid for the product to be successful. I really have four main devices that I need to account for, and the Chromecast is both the most-used and not present.
If there is something I'm missing trying to get this working (I've tried it through adding the device manually, and also doing the Bluetooth pairing, and neither seems to work), please let me know. Thanks!
