Add device to existing activity?

I am a new user and added some devices in my system and then worked on my activities. I later had to learn a command for a remote I couldn't find. I can't see how I add that new device to my existing activies.

    Just purchased this remote and I find it absolutely insane that I can' do this. So I must redo all my activities again...then I'm getting a new device next month so I will need to redo all my activities.....again??? This request is a year and a half old. How is it not a top priority? Needless to say, I will be returning it.

    WOW! That is insane! Anyone who buys a new TV has to delete all of their activities and build them all over again just to add a new TV to the activities? Holy ****!
