I am getting frustrated. I have the X1 and it is set up with the Hub and to my WIFI so that process was fine. I added my devices (Optoma projector, OPPO blu-ray, Amazon Fire TV, DirectV, Marantz AV7706).
I want to add the following activities: * SAT - where I want the Optoma projector to be on, the Directv on, and the Marantz AV 7706 to switch the input to SAT * Game - where I want the Optoma projector to be on, the Amazon Fire TV on, and the Marantz AV7706 to switch to the game input; as that is the HDMI input I have the Fire TV input set * Blu-ray - where I want the Optoma projector to be on, the OPPO blu-ray player on, and the Marantz AV7706 to switch input to the Blu-ray input.
My Marantz AV7706 has input buttons on the remote for SAT, Game, Blu-ray. The first activity I create works but then when I create a new activity and have the input changed on the Marantz AV7706 then the first one changes to that same input and when I do a third activity creation then all three are on the same input. I have tried to edit many many times and do not understand how to configure this remote!
I want those three activities and then just to be able to volume with the + or - keys, and be able to have the same basic functions of my Directv remote, my Oppo blu-ray remote, my Amazon Fire TV remote.
Please help as the software does not seem very intuitve and I am ready to give up!
