I have a setup that my Roku box and AVR are in a closet. The source is transmitted to a TV over Cat6 cable (converted from HDMI to CAT6 and back to HDMI) in my living room. I wanted to put the HUB in the closet as well, but I would need to X1 remote to directly output IR to control the TV (mainly power on/off) and also communicate with the Roku/AVR in the closet via the hub. Is it capable of this or does the X1 remote only "talk" to the hub?
