Starting Activities When TV Powers On

I have set up a number of activities which all work perfrectly when my TV is on. However, when I first turn the TV on, it starts up in the state that it was left and, I believe, the activity starts up before the TV is fully on and ready to receive commands.

I have tried adding a delay (up to 10 seconds as a test with a basic function like vol- after so that there is an action being performed) in the TV's "macro settings for turn on/off" after the "Power (no long press)" command hoping that that will mean there is a delay before the activity's own startup runs but this appears not to work. The remote also shows the newly selected activity (which I would expect), does anyone have any thoughts?

To explain another way, if activity one has "TV, Device 1 and uses HDMI 1" and activity two has "TV, Device 2 and uses HDMI 2" and I turn the TV off after using activity one, if I then turn it on by selecting activity two, the TV remains on HDMI 1 but the remote reports that activity two is active.

I then need to change to a another activty and back again or (as I have done), created a macro to perform the same selection as the startup config. Once the TV is on, everything works as it should, its just, I believe, the time that the TV takes to startup that is the issue. My TV is an LG 55NANO756.
