IR signal from hub

If the X1 hub radiates an IR signal to a nearby device, what direction is the signal sent? How should an Xfinity X1 box be oriented to the X1 hub? Please don't tell me that I need an IR blaster for every device!

Remote Engineer team apparently redid the XG1v4 codebase in the Devices database-- which entry is the one they repaired tho? There are numerous entries for XG1v4

The direction is around and upwards (cannot transmit to the bottom of the hub) As long as there is a direction towards the Xfinity, it can be controlled Temporarily if there is something wrong with the key response which could be caused by the frequency and length of the signal. we will update the firmware to fix the problem later.
