Android TV won't switch on with Sofabaton

while i don't have proper solution I found a work around if you go to the setting in your android box you can find setting that should say put device to sleep after certain amount of inactivity you can set it to never that should prevent from sleeping at least.

Hello, Is there any solution to that? Otherwise, the remote is useless if you cannot turn on the box with it and you need the original remote to do it.

Sorry, currently a third-party device controlling Mi box via Bluetooth will be recognized as a third-party accessory. After the TV is turned off, the third party's bluetooth connection is disconnected by the TV, so there is no control.

Unfortunately I don't know if there is a solution to this problem, same issue with harmony remotes. I don't know how it works but the native remote control for chinese android devices such as Mi Box or projectors all behave the same : the bluetooth connection is disabled while the device is off/asleep. I guess that a special command (through bluetooth?) is sent by the native remote to wake up the device by pressing the power button
