Adding Multi-Zone-AVR not possible

TheWolf 1 year ago ⋅ 741 Read it

Hi, if you want to use an AVR in more than one zone on Logitech's Harmony it works like this:

  • as model you type SC-LX801 Zone2
  • you are asked by the software which zones (Main, Zone2, Zone3 or all) you want to add
  • according to your selection you get up to 3 devcices (main, zone2, zone3) which can be controlled and used separately Important is that every device has and uses it's own Power-commands (PowerOnMain, PowerOnZone2, PowerOnZone3, PowerOffMain, PowerOffZone2, PowerOffZone3)

On X1 you can add an SC-LX801 Zone2 but none of the command-sets includes the according Power-commands. All power-command only work with the main-zone. Therefore it's not possible to use multi-zone.

That should be fixed as soon as possible.

TheWolf - did you ever get Zone 2 working on the X1? This is a must have feature for me if I am to switch to X1 from my Harmony Elite!

Would you please tell us the detailed model of your device so that we can check that?
