Unable to download code base for ORtek VRC-1100

I've been trying to add my "ORtek VRC-1100" remote control to the X1 (it's used to control a raspberry pi). Whenever I try to add it, it only gets to 49% when downloading the code base and then reports "Failed to synchronize code library". Using the learning function is not much good as it is full of bugs and rarely works.

Can you fix this issue?

Can anyone recommend another code base to use for the Raspberry Pi? I guess it would just be a standard MCE controller.

    @Patriq: Hi. It's even worse now, crashing at 2%. I tried mapping the buttons via manual learning but most of the buttons don't work. Please fix!
