Learning button commands still not working

I was REALLY hoping that the X1 was going to be THE replacement for the H4rmony that we had been using for years and has fallen out of favor when it lost support and couldnt add a new device that we added to our entertainment system. Sadly, the X1 also doesnt seem to offer native support for the Spectrum 110, a box in use by one of the major cable providers in the US, in that even the on/off command doesnt work. To add insult to injury, I was told to wait until April 11th after buying in early April so that the Learn function could be fixed. I upgraded the firmware and...the Spectrum 110 still doesnt work AND the Learn function isnt working either.
