new model with hub and better remote

can you please release a a newer model with better layout that is more intuitive navigation and main functions should be in the centre for comfort and balance the original U1 had a much better design layout but no hub the x1 has a hub but poor design you removed buttons in favour of a larger screen which will just kill the battery faster you also have no option for long press as a second function for the buttons this is even more important now that you have removed buttons

ideally you should have something similar to the U1 but with a hub like the X1 keep the screen small or remove all together in favour of more buttons intuitive button layout with navigation centred and important buttons around it all buttons should have ability to long press for second programmed function your BT should support mapping a BT keayboard for genric manual custom setups

i realize i am describing the harmony hub with companion remote but thats because it simply works great and people need a replacement since they no loger manufacture it this is your chance to get most of that marketplace as there is no other competition/alternative perhaps you can make a new model line call it the H1 or HC1 (because its aimed at replacing the harmony remote)

i know several people that want that exact remote but cant get it anymore i myself need an additional one your current remotes do not fill the need please create a model that does

    thank you so much for your suggestion. Regarding the long press function of X1, temporarily device does not support it, when Activity supports it. You can set custom functions such as long press, short press and macro buttons in the Assign key for X1-Remote of Activity.

    I kind of disagree with the comparison of the U1. I have the U1 too and the batteries drain more quickly than the X1 and I like the layout of the X1 About the missing keys : the U1 had the key numbers unlike the X1, but the harmony elite did not had key numbers too. But I agree that a few more keys would be great like stop, info, exit buttons. Also a few more buttons to set home automation (lights...) : I used them a lot on the harmony Also I miss that the remote won't turn on just when raising it Lastly, a touchscreen would be great for example for favorite channels (to compensate the lack of key numbers)
