I need to use the included IR extenders so i can reach a device that is not accessible to the hub. Problem is that the IR extenders are way dimmer than the hub, and they can not control any device unless i put them like 50 cm from the device. To verify that i am not crazy and the power output is actually different, i used my camera on my phone. The base IR LED is super bright, the extender is beardly visible. I have tried both ports on the hub, and also both included extenders (the one with 2 emitters is so dim, that i can see it only if totally black room)
Is this a defect in my device, a software problem or just that is by design?
