Connect to Hub via IP?

Cannot connect to Hub. I've tried everything. Tried different phones. Disabled 5ghz. Tried disabling mesh. At this point I'm contemplating on connecting another router. I have 30-40 IoT devices I've never had a single problem with any of those devices. I can literally see the device listed in my network and I can ping the IP. Why can't we specify the IP address manually?
