X1 will not connect to wifi

I have an X1 (a gift, via Kickstarter). I have followed the instructions. My phone provisions the X1 successfully via Bluetooth. The process completes with the phone app stuck at the "Searching for X1-Hub via Wi-Fi".

If I re-start the phone app it just takes me through the provisioning process again.

The hub shows a green light when it has power and a flashing blue light during provioning.

Same failure every time.

Hub 2.4 GHz channel is fully functional. How do I find the MAC address of the hub so I can check if it is trying to connect to the hub?

Submitting to the U1 support 'column' as there is none for the X1.

    Absolutely no joy with an iphone but got it to work with an old samsung android tablet. I even bought a 2.4ghz router and turned everything to no security, etc. still would not work with iphone. I was gonna try an old ipad but the android tablet worked. good luck.

    I guess that we are stuck if we have an Eero. That’s off because the hub uses an ESP32 or ESP8266 and I’ve got a few of those connected on my network without issues.
