I can’t seem to add my LS800 UST to Sofabaton x2

I can’t seem to add my epson LS800 UST to Sofabaton x2. I have tried the multiple versions in the pre select ir menu and have tried to add manually as an Android TV, and am getting nothing. I have even had to learn the remote, and nothing is working at all. It is letting me control my Onkyo TXRZ50, Apple TV, and Panasonic Blu-ray player. Any ideas? Because I have spent about 6 hours trying to get this to work, and it is incredibly frustrating and not a great first experience, to be honest.
