Trying to change from a Harmony Elite to X2. Mt STB is a AT&T IPH8110
Mostly done but - and both of these occur on the remote and if I am using the app buttons or "test" when programming so I do not believe it is a remote hardware issue.
- Skipbackward and Skipforward only allow 1 skip. Press again and nothing. Have to press the other button which then only take one press. Or press play and maybe it "reloads" the button and I get another press. So I can't do multiple skips either direction just one.
- With Harmony I had icons and direct access to the cable channels. The X2 doesn't appear to do this. So I tried to make some macros which would type in a channel like 1203. The X2 will not send 4 digits. Sometimes it does nothing, sometimes it sends the first three, sometimes them the middle two, rare will it send a 0.
- And this might be related but my remote screen soft numeric keys are totally worthless. I get maybe a 40% read when I touch a key and try to get 4 to register before the STB changes to whatever has managed to get sent.
It's about to go back to Amazon if I don't get these resolve rather quickly.
Troubleshooting already attempted
remove the STB and rechose it
Uninstall software rechoose everything
resync'd and rebooted
direct learns from the STB remote for the skips and numbers
Add delay between numerals
