Hello
I'm raising this issue because Sofabaton seems to trigger device power state on and off sequences even if the device is already in both old and new activity.
The more material impact is if the device doesn't have both discrete power on and power off buttons programmed. (Sofabaton has more devices with only power toggle, or only power on or off, but not both). The Sofabaton triggers a power ON event when not needed, and if the only power on is a power toggle it then turns the device off.
Harmony had context awareness and knew what the previous activity devices were, the current activity devices, and at least an informed opinion of whether the last status of device was on/off and if the current status needs to be on/off. It only triggered power when a status change never.
Here's a few thread on the topic.

This seems to be a long standing defect. See below from the X1 from 3 years ago.

There's other threads on Reddit and AVFORUMS even where same topic is being discussed
Not myself but you can see the other user has given up and mothballed their X2, which is unfortunate.
If hardware limitation for X1 is it also for X2 or can be fixed?
Thank you
