Each time I use the app and switch to edit an activity or device, there is a very noticeable delay before screens display. What this tells me is that the app connects to the cloud to retrieve the information it needs.
While I would love for this to work, even without the Internet connected, at the very least the backend infrastructure and app should be changed so that the app always has a local copy stored and can ask the backend if there is a newer version, and if so, download it for local storage.
