Finally bit the bullet on a Harmony replacement.
The remote looks and feels great but its let down by crappy hardware and software. I had to destory my home wireless just to get this thing to work, removed 6 and 5 ghz bands from my setup otherwise it wouldnt join my network. I have 80 device some random IoTs which all work fine and yet sofabaton cant make a hub work with modern wireless.... come on people ffs.
If my hub loses power it wont re-join the wireless without hard reseting it and setting it up as a new hub. Why?
I cant pair any bluetooth devices to it, tried A nvidia shield and nvidia shield pro, nothing...
Occasionally It says my hub needs a firmware upgrade to version 5, yet its already on version 5. So I click ok, firmware upgrades and the hub drops off the wifi and never comes back.
Its a shame because i want to like it, its just not a harmony replacement
