I am attempting to setup the X1 series for my grandparents, but I can't seem to use the learn command feature to add any of the buttons for their cable box remote. The hub is on version 17, and the remote firmware is version 11. The device the original remote is for is the Xione model SCXI11BEI. There is a load out for this device in the cloud, but it does not work.
I point the remote vertically at the circle of the hub like in the picture. I have tried all distances between 2 and 5cm and more. I have tried long presses and short presses. I have tried holding the button before selecting the learn option in the app. I have attempted to dim the lighting in the room while doing this.
If there are any other steps I could try, or if it would be possible to fix the cloud settings for this device. Please let me know.
