Having trouble

Hi! I'm trying to get my Denon AVR-S960H to work on my X1S remote, but it doesn't seem to be working. When I download the codebase (both the regular one and the user uploaded) none of the buttons will work and when I try to manually input the remote buttons in they don't work either. Any suggestions? Thanks
