I have a Wiim Amp Pro as part of my setup. It's connected to my TV's HDMI/ARC so I am able to output the TV's audio to it and also control mute and volume through the TV versus needing to control the Wiim directly. However, I'm also using the Wiim as a Roon network endpoint as well, so this requires me to toggle the input on the Wiim between HDMI (for TV) and Ethernet (for Roon).
The Wiim Amp Pro has its own Bluetooth remote control. However, when I try to add the Wiim as a new Bluetooth device in SofaBaton, it requires pairing with the Wiim. The Wiim has no UI for selecting alternative Bluetooth remote control. It's got an option for pairing with its own remote which gets paired when you dual press two buttons on the remote itself. You also have the ability to pair with new Bluetooth audio input and audio output devices, but not with other remotes.
Do I have any options here or am I stuck with using a second remote for the Wiim?
