Just finishing setting up my new SB X1S. I had a problem with my Samsung TV (a QE43QN90A), where all navigation buttons (left, right, up, down) were "doubling up". For example, if I pressed the Down button, the on-screen selection went down two options, making menu, program etc. selection impossible. I looked up the problem online and found that others were suffering the same problem, with no definitive cures offered. I figured that as the original Samsung remote works OK, it must be something to do with the signals sent by the SB remote. So I re-trained the left, right, up & down buttons on the SB remote from the Samsung remote and now everything works OK. to do this, in the SB app go to [Activities…TV…Edit/repair commands…Navigate_down (or left, right, up)…Edit…Learn commands from the original remote], then follow the instructions. NOTE - when you press the button on the original remote as you hold it over the hub, press it for the shortest possible length of time to guarantee that it only sends the signal once. I have a suspicion that it was not doing this that caused the problem in the first place with the sets of commands available from SofaBaton. Hope this helps others with the same problem.
