Media Player: Long Press and Scrolling Not Working
There are some questions, all with the same answer, that it will be updated in the next version. So, I am trying again, hoping for a positive response from Sofabaton.
With the media players Zidoo (Z9x), long press (e.g., the home button) can be configured, but it does not work with the X1. Due to this, some users have returned the X1 and X1S due to the lack of updates for use with the Zidoo.
I and other Zidoo users need the X1(s) to work with long press (ArrowRight or ArrowLeft) to fast forward the movie, because it is extremely frustrating to have to press the button countless times to reach, for example, the middle of the movie.
Additionally, scrolling through a list of files with the ArrowUp or ArrowDown buttons does not work. Navigating up or down one item in the list works, but nothing happens with a long press on the buttons.
It works fine with the old Logitech Harmony.
With other devices (e.g., TV), scrolling works without problems.
It should be quite simple programming, because with the volume (ArrowUp or ArrowDown) and on Netflix (ArrowRight or ArrowLeft) the long press works like a charm.
Sofabaton, please check this and provide an real update. Thanks.
