The trick to achieve this effect is to create an Activity called OFF. The only time I ever use the Off button at the top of the remote is when we go on holiday the rest of the time I use my Off Activity. It turns everything off but has buttons assigned to operate my Air Con and lights.
I would also like to do this on the X1S.
There is no Arrow down button. There is a cursor down button, but that works and allready assigned.
Dear Sofabaton Team, I recently purchased the Sofabaton X1S with great enthusiasm, especially because of its versatility and ease of use. So far, I am very satisfied with the device. However, I noticed that the Arris VIP5002W, also known as the Ziggo Next Mini (widely used in the Netherlands), is still not yet available in your database. This device is one of the most common set-top boxes provided by Ziggo in the Netherlands. The lack of support means that I, and likely many other users, have to rely on multiple remote controls, which is exactly the problem I hoped to solve by purchasing the Sofabaton. I have seen that devices from other Dutch providers, such as KPN, are already included in your Bluetooth database. Would it be possible to add the Ziggo Next Mini (Arris VIP5002W) as well? I am confident that this would greatly benefit many users in the Netherlands. Thank you in advance for your effort, and I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, i had the same problem. the apple tv sees the x1s as a keyboard and when you don’t use it for a long time (overnight) the bluetooth connection is lost. i usually use the apple remote and then see a popup that the connection is lost and with using the right arrow key on the x1s remote it connects again. so i used that the next day also. press the right key arrow and wait for 5 seconds or more and then start the activity with the apple tv. i use the apple remote because the x1s remote makes queeking sound when i use it; have to get in contact whit sofabaton about this. hope this will help you; good luck.
