X1 and IRBlaster by Sewell

Trying to get IR for Sony TV in another loc than the Hub is. Hub is in a network closet sending signals all OK to Cable box, Denon AVR etc. But the TV is 15 feet away (house built with in-wall 30 ft HDMI cable). My idea was to get an IR Extender/Repeater, in this case, thw Wireless BlastIR by Sewell.
I can get it to send an IR command from the Sony remote, to BlastIR receiver, which is plugged into DC power 2 rooms away, and in turn it sends that signal to its linked Emitter sitting in front of the TV and turns it On just fine.

Only when I put the Receiver in front of/at the location of the Hub, does it still sense a signal being sent, and the Emitter receives a signal-- but will not enage the TV in any way.

Does the X1 Hub in this case, not allow its own IR signals to be "extended" or "repeated"??  Again, the Receiver blinks Blue when the Hub sends a signal to it (when the Receiver gets a command from the Hub)....and at the other end, when it does that, the Emitter also blinks Blue indicating its getting "something",
