I have been trying to learn/teach ANY of multiple remote commands for 7 days now. I have read every post on here including one that says when pressing the original remote key, stand on your left foot w you right knee bent, etc etc etc-- none of these gymnastics works. I am on most recent firmware software everything. What's the deal??
Following the app instructions does not work Holding the button, Pressing it once, twiice three times, 4x, 50 times- holding it perpendicular 1 in away, 3 5 6 7 or 8 inches away: nothing
The app responds to all of this wiht 1 reaction only: It sits and has green spinning circle top right, that remains there for hours if I leave the app alone.
This will prevent in the end from being able to create the Activities I need, meaning, I will have an X1 with the LCD screen containing no Devices, no Activities.
Very disappointing, as this is sold as one of the major features that allows for customization and getting a "stubborn" or ooor codebased Device to be able to work.
