I bought the X1 when Sofabaton added some local API access in hopes that it would expand. Since then, there's really not been much activity on that front. I like the remote for the basic functionality, but it could be so much more.
Native integration to services like Home Assistant would be amazing, but I get that's a long shot. For example I would LOVE to be able to use the macro buttons on the remote as a trigger for controlling my Home Assitant devices.
If native H.A. integration is out of the question, expanding the API capabilities to let us hook into things like that would be a game-changer and make the X1 appeal to a bigger demographic.
TLDR; These are my questions as a user for the past year or so:
- Are there any plans to expand the local API?
- Any hope of Home Assistant Integration?
