X1 - issues USC C, PS4, IR blaster

This week my Logitech Harmony died, so I migrated to the Sofabaton X1. Here are a few issues I'd like to see resolved by the Sofabaton team.

  • Playstation Bluetooth commands. Yes, my Logitech Harmony could send Playstation commands, this included turning on the Playstation and turning it off by way of the following commands (steps): PS, delay, DirectionRight, delay, PS, delay, DirectionUp, delay, Directionright, delay, OK, delay, OK. This would put the PS4 to sleep.  This has worked mostly without issue the entire life of my PS4 Pro. When I pair the X1 to the PS4 there are no Playstation commands available, the direction buttons work as do a few others.... but no specific Playstation buttons such as "PS', X, Triangle, Square, Circle, etc.
  • USB C connector - I've tried multiple brand USB C cables and none of them charge the remote. For example, I have 3 or more different Anker series USB C cables, they charge all my other devices: GoPros, Pixel phone, Samsung Tablet without issue, yet the X1 remote does not charge with said cables. If I use the provided X1 USB C cable with the same charger, then the remote charges. There's something wonky w/ the quality of the USB C port.
  • Once an activity is set-up, there's no ability to add an additional device to an existing activity. This is a pain.
  • The provided IR blasters simply don't work. I've tried both IR blaster, switched ports, restarted the X1 hub and they simply do nothing. The IR extenders/blasters with the Logitech Harmony worked without issue for years.

I think the X1 has potential, the Logitech Harmony software wasn't glitch free either but as Sofabaton seems to be the only "similar" product, I have a vested interest to help highlight bugs or shortcomings to help improve the product.

Sofabaton, please reach out with any questions. Issue or bug tracking links would be welcome.

Thank you,

Brendan
