double clicks on Samsung TV

Hi I've learned the Samsung remote for my UE65TU7020KXXU. I have a problem that whenever I press the right or left arrow it goes right or left twice rather than once - its a major pain with selecting HDMIs. Could anyone assist with a fix pls.
