I have a Sony STR-DN1070 receiver, which is in the list of devices for the X1. All functions seem to be working through the remote with the exception of input switching. The Sony remote has separate buttons for each input. The commands available within the X1 even show these individual buttons. However, it will not switch the input when I select that input within the remote. I have tried "teaching" it the command from the original remote and that doesn't work either. It simply does nothing. Without the input switching capability, activities and thus this remote is useless to me. I come from a Harmony Elite (which worked wonderfully) and am well versed in setting up a remote. I was really hoping this remote would be my Harmony Elite replacement. I have seen other posts mentioning the same problem with input switching on their receiver so I don't believe it's an isolated issue.
One thing to note, when I "edit" the command for a particular input, and I select "filter instructions from cloud data," one of the filtered commands will change the input. However, after clicking "confirm" and then testing the command, it doesn't work. So either it's not saving the item that I confirmed, or there is an overall issue with switching inputs on certain receivers.
