The biggest problem with this remote control is it only holds a charge for a week. It likely has to do with graphic interface of the remote which likely drains a lot of the battery. Alternatively it may be that a battery would be better. This one with Harmony Hub was no frills but worked for over a year w/o need to replacement battery, see https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Harmony-All-One-Remote/dp/B01JHQZSHW/ref=asc_df_B01JHQZSHW/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=216526779832&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=10270704556291993328&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1015140&hvtargid=pla-349825475403&psc=1
For people that won't the graphic then could still keep that option, just think need to design one for performance and longevity since it's a pain to charge it weekly, i pretty much use my cell phone for everything, but it's not ideal.
