I am an ex harmony user and I believe I fully understand how to setup the remote and have it somewhat working with my various devices. What I want to know is, can I setup the remote to assign actions and not devices?
I have all my devices added and they function properly individually. What I am trying to do is set it up like a harmony so that you setup an action and not a device.
For example I have two different actions. Each action uses the same same Volume keys for different functions depending on the action I am doing. I do not understand how to set the volume keys on the remote to change when performing two different actions.
On the harmony, it asks you which device controls the volume and it handles the logic. On this remote we have to program the keys. Is there maybe a way to re-program a key during a macro?
Watch TV
Turn on TV
Set TV input to TV
Set volume up key to use TV volume up
Set volumne down key to use TV volumn down
Watch Movie
Turn on TV
Set TV input to HDMI 1
Turn on Denon Receiver
Set Denon Receiver input to PC
Set volume up key to use Denon Receiver volume up
Set volumne down key to use Denon Receiver volumn down
