I have two X1s, and they both exhibit this behavior. From time to time, the remote can't communicate with the hub. The simplest solution is to power cycle the hub, and then it works, and usually sends the commands that are in the buffer. I don't know if this is a BT problem, if the buffer in the hub gets overloaded or if the hub goes into an infinite loop. I had a similar issue with a Harmony hub.
