Please allow us to copy codes between devices.

I've requested a proper code base for my Yamaha YSP-1000 a few times and I've been told it's already been added. But what is added under the YSP-1000 isn't right. It has many codes that don't do anything and is missing several very important ones. I have been able to find code bases that have codes that work for some of the missing commands, and I have the codes I was able to learn from my old universal remote before it broke but what I was able to learn is missing some needed codes as well. I currently have to have three different entries in the device list in order to control my sound bar properly.

If I could copy codes from one device to another device list I could compile one device in the list that had all the codes I need for my soundbar.

Please allow us to copy from one code list to another. It would help out a tremendous amount.

    @Doug, Not the function I was looking for. I have a Soundbar that I never had the original remote for. I was able to get most of the basic functions learned from a universal I had that died shortly after. The Sofabaton system does list the soundbar but the code list isn't right, some stuff works and a lot doesn't or isn't a function on the bar in the first place. I was able to find some codes that work in the lists for other sound bars from the same manufacturer. If I could copy IR signals from one list into another I could fix the situation I have. Last night I took my old Universal apart and cleaned off the battery contacts with some sandpaper. Seems that was the problem. Now I'm slowly going through and using individual codes I found scouring the internet using the JP1 manual programming features.

    Thank you for your suggestion. It cannot be copied for the time being. We will feed back to our research and development department to assess the feasibility.

    with the app version 3.2.9 I was able to create a device for a clock radio that wasn't in the code base and learn all the commands and was able to use the share code base on one remote to upload and to test I was able to see the code base in the list now on the other remote when I went to setup there, I dont need it on that remote but wanted to test and it worked,
