X1 and Roku Premier

I have been using the X1 for a few months, and have slowly been getting it dialed in how I need it.

The X1 remote was working perfectly with my Roku Premiere, but in the last few weeks or so a big lag has started occurring, where pressing buttons (play, pause, etc) will do nothing. Sometimes it takes pressing the button repeatedly to get the action to take place. As a test the original Roku remote works fine, and I have tested the X1 on some of my other activities (blu-ray/tv) and there is no lag.

For the record I have removed/re-added the Roku, recreated the activity, and did unplug/plugin of the hub.
As a workaround I am just accessing my streaming content/apps via my tv, but would really like the Roku controls to work like they briefly did.

Any thoughts and/or has anyone else experienced this with the Roku and the X1?
