Song TV will not turn off XBR-H900

I just set up this yesterday and all my activities work fine except for Apple TV.  That particular activity does great turning on,  but the shutdown appears to do nothing.   Watching Xfinity,  DVD,  work fine.  I've tried every setting of power management?
