I got the IR/RS-232 manual for the i3.3. It uses the same IR codes as the 340i. Setting the SofaBaton to that solves my problem.
@sofabaton is the X1s able to learn Bluetooth commands?
Looks like your only option is to unpair the remote from the Telus and then teach the X1S the IR codes.
Dear Customer, we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. The battery life of the remote control may decrease over time. We recommend using the original charging cable when charging. It is best to charge for at least 3 hours. The battery in the X series is non-removable.

I did get word from Telus that the remote is only IR in the initial setup and once the remote connects to the box it is only Bluetooth no IR. I have tried to add Android TV box and Other but can't get it to learn button commands I only get the continously spinning circle regular or long pressing the Telus remote button nothing registers with the base.
