Hub is updated to version 13 and remote is on 10.
The hub will disconnect from the nvidia sheild and the only recorse is to reboot the hub.
This seems to happen less if the Bluetooth privacy setting is disabled in the Apps security menu.
This makes the hub pretty much usesless for use by a non techy person, my wife is not going to go and uplug the hub to make it reconnect.
The IR seems to be solid so maybe I will try a FLIRC until you can fix this, if you can.
it could be a hardware issue with the bluetooth chip.
My Sheild is a 2017 version not sure if there is differences between that one and the 2019 version which I also have in a different room.
