Unable to connect to hub

I'm unable to connect using my iPhone (14 Pro Max), but it works just fine from my iPad. 
The app keeps prompting to connect (see attached screenshot), but I'm already connected to wifi, same as my iPad. 
My wife has the same issue with her iPhone (13 Pro Max). 
Is this an iOS 16 issue? Or maybe hardware related?
