Activity Power Settings

I have had my Sofabaton x1 for about 3 months now. After some fine tuning, it has been working fairly, and I would like to keep using it if I can figure out my last big issue.
I have all of my devices set to automatically power off after a period of inactivity. Within each device in the x1 app (hub) I have changed all of the power setting to "Turn off when not in use".
But when the devices (Projector, Receiver and Nvidia shield) are accidently left on, (usually by the kids) and turn off automatically, the remote "Activity" remains green thinking that the devices are still active.  I then have to dig out my native remotes for each device, turn them each on, and then use the remote "OFF" button to clear the activity and turn it off.
there has to be a better way, and can someone please offer me some guidance on how to make this last hurdle easier to manage.

I am looking for my "Activity" to reset to "OFF" after a period of inactivity, so the next time I come down to use the theater, the remote will turn on all of my devices as programed rather than me having to manually turn them all back on because the remote still thinks that the activity is running.
